Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil’ Series Has Trailer(s) And an Angry Caterpillar

The first two trailers for Netflix’s upcoming Resident Evil adaptation were released earlier today and they provide us with our first glimpse of the highly-anticipated series. At first glance, this may not look like a Resident Evil show in the traditional sense. In fact, if anything, it looks like a 28 Days Later series. But let’s not be too cynical. With Netflix’s track record with video game adaptations as of late, they get the benefit of the doubt. Besides, the last two Resident Evil installments took place in (assumingly) Louisiana and Romania – and had very little to do with traditional Resident Evil games.

Resident Evil will be available on Netflix on July 14th.
