WWK 2K22 – It Crashes Different

If you’re one of the many that purchased WWE 2K22 within the last two weeks, you’re likely experiencing constant crashes. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the PC, next-gen consoles, or old, the game is practically unplayable in its current form.

It might be too soon to say that this is going to turn into a WWE 2K20 clusterfuck, but it’s not looking good.

The biggest issue at the moment seems to center around the use of custom images. If the number of custom images from your created superstars, belts, or arenas surpass 280 then your game is going to crash. Annoying, but workable, right? Well, no. Going to the deletion utility to get under that 280 number will result in your shitting the bed. Let’s say that you choose to avoid playing with any of that created content until 2K can release a patch. Surely that would be a workaround, right? Again, no.

If you’re on the fence, my recommendation would be to avoid the game until it’s patched. Maybe circle back around this summer once the DLC has been released. At this point, WWE 2K22 is as much of a mess as the actual WWE product.
